Common questions
The clock stopped updating. How do I fix it?
Android's battery optimization can pause the clock. Open the app menu, choose Check Android Settings, and allow the app to run without battery restrictions.
How do I add the widget?
Touch and hold an empty spot on your home screen, tap Widgets, find Bennett Binary Clock and drag the widget where you want it. You can add more than one, each with its own settings.
How do I use it on the lock screen?
Open your phone's Wallpaper & style settings and choose Binary Clock Lock Screen from the live wallpapers. A separate lock screen wallpaper is available on Android 14 and later.
How do I read a binary clock?
Each column is one digit of the time. From the bottom up the cells are worth 1, 2, 4 and 8; add the lit cells to get the digit. Turn on bit labels in the app to see the values. The home page has a live example.
Can I share my theme?
Yes. Use Export Theme in the app menu to save it to a file, and Import Theme to load one.
